The Lakeview Veterans’ Day Parade has been proud to partner with Joey’s Hope for Hungry Kids, a 501(c)(3) organization that feeds 350 children every week.  These are children who would otherwise be alone until their caregiver comes home from work.

Working in partnership with Fuel The Future, a 501 (c)(3) Charity, Joey’s Hope for Hungry Children is a charitable organization developed to honor and commemorate the life of USMC Sgt. Joseph Anthony Bovia who was killed in Afghanistan. 100%of the proceeds from the fundraising events are used to provide food, clothing and shelter to help children in the New Orleans Metropolitan Area.
